Danita Ellis-Fredericks

Case Management Specialist, MA

Danita received her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Eastern Kentucky University in 1988. She continued her education at Eastern Kentucky University, earning her Master of Arts and Rank I degrees in administration. 

Danita taught high school Mathematics at Southwestern High School for 9 years, then transferred to the Pulaski County Board of Education to work in Curriculum and Instruction for the middle 9 years of her educational career. During the last 9 and 1/2 years of her educational career, Danita served as principal at Southwestern High School. Danita was inspired by working with students/families and her love of helping others to become a case manager upon retirement from the school system. She has worked for Phoenix Preferred Care for 5 years.

In her free time, Danita enjoys being outdoors, golfing, camping, and kayaking are some of her favorite pastimes. Danita also enjoys volunteering at her church with the kitchen committee as she loves to cook and bake. Danita and her husband Scott also enjoy spending time with each other, family and friends.
