Anne Harris

MAE, NCC, LPCA

Licensed Professional Counselor Associate for the Pulaski County area.

Anne Harris is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA) and Behavioral Health Professional serving individuals and families throughout the Pulaski County area. Anne joined Phoenix in August 2026 and is passionate about providing a supportive and welcoming environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered.

Anne earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Clinical and Community Behavioral Health from Western Kentucky University in 2024. She continued her education at Western Kentucky University, earning a Master of Arts in Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in May 2026. During her graduate training, Anne gained experience working in both urban and rural settings, completing clinical experiences in Bowling Green and Glasgow. In addition to this, Anne has also gained extensive experience with research in both psychology and counseling fields throughout her undergraduate and graduate programs.

Anne’s clinical approach draws from a mix of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, and trauma-informed care, with the use of play and art therapy modalities when appropriate. She works with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship concerns, behavioral challenges, self-esteem concerns, ADHD, and other challenges that may arise throughout life. Anne describes her counseling style as collaborative and compassionate, with an emphasis on listening to each client and putting their individual needs first. She intends to make therapy both productive and enjoyable for her clients.

Anne chose counseling because she wanted to be a resource for others and help people work through the difficult things they may be facing and to not face it alone. She finds meaning in witnessing her clients make progress and grow in their own confidence as they recognize their own strengths and abilities. Anne hopes that each client leaves counseling with practical skills and knowledge, deeper self-awareness, and a renewed sense of hope.

Outside of her professional work, Anne is a member of the Kentucky Counseling Association (KCA). She enjoys walking, Pilates, reading, drinking coffee, and cleaning. She especially enjoys spending time with her husband and exploring new places together. Anne values the opportunity to continue learning, growing, and connecting with others both personally and professionally.
