Rebecca Nicole Allen

Rebecca Nicole Allen is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in the McCreary County area.

Nicole earned a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from University of the Cumberlands in 2021. She continued her education by receiving her Masters of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2023 from University of the Cumberlands. Nicole started her journey at Phoenix Preferred Care in 2022 as an intern and joined the team as a full-time Licensed Professional Counseling Associate in September 2023. Since that time, Nicole has become a National Certified Counselor.

Nicole is most interested in working with clients who are struggling with depression, anxiety, and trauma. She primarily practices from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy orientation, but may also utilize techniques from Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, or other orientations to meet the needs of the client. Nicole primarily works in the McCreary County area, but also sees clients in Pulaski County and via telehealth.

When she is not working, Nicole enjoys reading, writing, camping, traveling, studying holistic and metaphysical healing, spending time with family and friends, and spoiling her fur babies (Percy, Sister, Jasper, and Monkey).
