Kayla Baker

MSW, LCSW

Kayla Baker is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the Pulaski County area. She also provides Telehealth services for clients throughout the Lake Cumberland region.

Kayla graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Eastern Kentucky University in 2016. She continued her education by receiving a Master of Social Work degree from Campbellsville University in 2018. While completing her graduate program, she interned with PPC and fell in love with the staff and the clients. After graduation, Kayla obtained her clinical social work licensure (CSW), and officially joined the team as a Behavioral Health Clinician. In 2022, Kayla earned her full license and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Kayla is most interested in working with clients to overcome anxiety and panic related disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).  She finds it to be particularly rewarding to see individuals and families work through trauma and/or anxieties and see life from a different, more positive perspective. Kayla works primarily from a client centered, strengths-based perspective. She believes all people have unique strengths that can be utilized in the change process. She loves the holistic approach PPC encompasses, as it aligns with her personal and professional values.

Outside of work, Kayla is passionate about sustainable farming. She and her husband, along with our three children, work hard to provide the community with healthy, locally sourced food and sustainable health and wellness items.
