Raymond Causey

Raymond Causey is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate for the Somerset area.

Raymond earned a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Eastern Kentucky University in 2019. He continued his education by receiving his Master of Arts degree in Clinical Behavioral Health Counseling in 2022 from Eastern Kentucky University.

Raymond began working at Phoenix Preferred Care in 2022 as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and also became a National Certified Counselor that same year. Raymond is currently under supervision and completing training to become a Registered Play Therapist (RPT).

Raymond is most interested in using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Adventure-based Counseling with children who have experienced trauma, loss/grief, and anxiety. He sees clients in the Somerset area.

Outside of work, Raymond enjoys spending time with his friends/co-workers, family, camping, hunting, and fishing. He is a member of the Association for Play Therapy and Kentucky Counseling Association.
