Gracey Bowen is a native of Louisville, KY and completed her education at Spalding University. In 2011 Gracey earned a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and returned to Spalding to earn a Master’s degree in 2012. In 2012 Gracey completed the remainder of a study abroad program in the country of Ireland, where she explored the field of social services by traveling within the various cities. After serving in a variety of social service roles in Louisville, Gracey earned a CSW in 2022.

Gracey began her career with Phoenix in 2024, coming with prior mental health knowledge and experience. Gracey enjoys working from a strengths-based perspective with children, families, adolescents, and adults. She also has experience with mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem issues, and some neurodivergent categories. Gracey works to help each family and individual realize their strengths, potential for success, and that there is hope for their future.

When Gracey is not working, she enjoys being a full time mom to her son Israel (“Izzy”) and enjoys volunteering at his school events. Gracey is also an active member of her church, choir, Young Adult and Women’s ministry, and an assistant Sunday School teacher for the elementary-aged children. Gracey is deeply connected to her faith and faith community. She loves spending time with her family and friends, and hopes to one day travel abroad again!
