Lillee Westfall
BA
Lillee Westfall is a graduate of Bellarmine University with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology. She is currently pursuing the Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree at Spalding University.
While interning at a teen shelter in Louisville, Lillee quickly realized the vast need for mental health resources for teens and young adults. Trauma-informed care would be central to her work for the next three years. Working with children has been a passion of Lillee’s that started early in her career with multiple jobs in childcare ranging from after school programs, nannying, church nursery coordinator and even daycare programs during the pandemic facilitating NTI. It is often said that children are the future and that is a belief Lillee holds dearly. She believes that with love, support, and education children can overcome adversity and thrive and it is her goal to help children become more resilient through building relationships and connections with families.
Growing up in a diverse community taught Lillee to celebrate everyone’s unique talents and abilities. She encourages others to be their authentic self through Child Centered Play Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Lillee also lives by this personally through hiking, gardening, singing and listening to music, and creating art. Being in nature and enjoying the simple things in life like a cup of coffee on her porch are how Lillee stays grounded and mindful.
Lillee is constantly inspired and educated by the staff at Phoenix Preferred Care. She is excited to see what life has to offer her with the endless opportunities provided by PPC.
