Macy Bright is a dedicated graduate student intern currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Spalding University, with expected graduation in August 2026. She graduated magna cum laude from Bellarmine University in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, as well as a minor in Criminal Justice Studies and Art.
Macy has a strong passion for working with children and has served as a Teaching Assistant at Sproutlings Pediatric Daycare and Preschool since June 2020. In this role, she has supported both traditional and medically fragile children, gaining hands-on experience in fostering growth, emotional regulation, and development in a nurturing environment.
Professionally, Macy is particularly interested in Child Centered Play Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and she hopes to incorporate these orientations into her future practice with children and adolescents. Her long-term goal is to provide compassionate, individualized mental health care that empowers young clients and supports their emotional well-being.
In her free time, Macy enjoys reading, listening to music, and spending time with her two dogs, Millie and Benny.
