Resilience and Wellness Summit

A Plan for building and maintaining Community, Organization and Individual Performance

The Resilience and Wellness Summit celebrates a culture of hard work and high performance while acknowledging that unforeseen events and the daily “grind” can undermine the resiliency of our community, organization, and workforce, impacting the health and functioning of each.

Conference Overview

High performing professionals are great at creating vision, developing action plans, and completing projects.  They deal with challenging tasks, adapt to adversity, and move on to “the next” without hesitation.  On the surface, many function well at work and may even have the trappings of hard-earned success.

Yet, across industries in the United States professionals report struggling with experiencing overwhelming anxious and depressive feelings, apathy regarding their career and a lack of joy in their personal lives.  Many individuals report feeling constantly “drained”, are unproductive or absent at work and many ultimately leave their chosen profession prior to retirement.

The intent of this conference is to provide specific, evidence-based Resilience and Wellness strategies for prevention planning, recognizing when an individual, community, or organization has been negatively impacted, effective intervention in the moment and strategies to help return to high-performance afterwards.

The Resilience and Wellness Summit will include a Keynote Speaker, 2-4 Primary Presentations, Multiple Break-out Sessions, alongside Entertainment and an Event showcasing the local area.

Networking Reception  •  Breakfast  •  Lunch  •  Conference Bags  •  Afternoon Coffee

Why it matters for your team:

The cost of neglecting mental health:

Organizations spend over $15,000.00 annually for each employee experiencing mental health issues via healthcare costs, absenteeism, inefficiency and decreased productivity.

The cost of days lost each year due to stress/trauma averages $4,783.00 per employee.

40% of turnover is related to stress and trauma.

The cost of turnover averages $5,733.00 per employee.

Depression is the single largest predictor of absenteeism and work-related declines in performance with employees experiencing such averaging absentee rates of 27 days per year.

Employers that support mental health see a return of $4 for every dollar invested in preventative mental health treatment.
