Doug Grider graduated from Campbellsville College in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education and a minor in Political Science. After earning his Bachelor’s degree, he earned two Masters degrees, one from Morehead State University in 1988 in Health, Physical Education and Recreation and another from Eastern Kentucky University in School Counseling. He also earned a history minor and his standard certification in counseling education through Eastern Kentucky University.
Prior to his work as a Case Manager at PPC, Doug worked in education for 37 years. He was a business/social studies teacher for 16 years in Rockford, Illinois, Trimble County, and Pulaski County. He was a school counselor for 21 years in both Pulaski County and Somerset Independent Schools.
Doug is an active member of Somerset First United Methodist Church. He enjoys reading, traveling, sports, gardening, nature, and outdoor activities. He has one adult son, Seth.
