Ian Barbour

BA, Professional Counselor Intern

Ian Barbour is a Professional Counselor Intern providing services in Jefferson and Bullitt Counties and the surrounding area.

Ian earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Towson University in 2023. He is currently working towards earning a Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Spalding University. 

Ian is most interested in utilizing Adlerian Play Therapy (believing that each person is unique, socially embedded, creative, goal-directed, and subjective) with children and adolescents who have experienced trauma, anxiety or depression. I also enjoy working with those in the LGBTQ+ community.

Outside of work, Ian is a huge sports fan, enjoys playing volleyball, tennis, and basketball. He also loves spending time with my friends and family, watching films, and building Legos.
