Jane Jones

MA

Jane Jones received her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education 1-8 from Eastern Kentucky University in 1986. She continued her education at EKU, earning a Master’s in

Elementary Education in 1988 and a Rank 1 degree in Supervision and Administration in 1990.

Jane taught fifth grade for 5 years in Laurel County before coming back to Pulaski County. She taught at Burnside Elementary School and then transferred to Oak Hill Elementary School when it opened in 1994. She taught for 3 years before being hired as the principal there at Oak Hill Elementary School where she remained principal for 18 years before retiring in 2015. 

Jane was very involved in the lives of her children and feels she lived most of her adult life on a baseball field. When Jane decided to add some structure to her life again, she looked to the only thing she knew. Kids. She loves her families and kids and enjoys working with the families she serves.

In her free time, Jane loves to cook, bake, and spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Jane and her husband Steve have lived in Pulaski County all their lives and have 2 adult boys. Kent is married to Allyson and they are both engineers. They live in Bowling Green, KY with their two young children, Eddison Elaine and Jude Allen, and two fur-babies, Max and Maverick. Kellan is recently married to Marissia and they live here in Somerset. Both are teachers at PCHS where Kellan also serves as assistant baseball coach. They have a precious fur baby, Enzo.
